Born 1782 in Montgomery Co., MD. From MD to OH in 1802 with parents. Married at age 20 in 1803, as the first marriage in the town of Mantua. Mother of five children (all boys), born between 1805 and 1810, two of whom died as children. Ran a spinning wheel as well as the grist mill; known as an excellent businesswoman. Probably joined the Church between about 1833 and 1836. Died in 1843 at age 61, probably at Nauvoo, IL.
