Born 1872 in SLC. Parents to farm in rural Cache Valley when 3 years old. Baptized at age 8. Although parents somewhat opposed to matchup, married Will at age 22 in 1894, and sealed in Logan Temple in 1903. Mother of ten children (six boys and four girls) born between 1895 and 1914, one who died as a newborn and one who died at 15. Lived in very poor dwellings such as an old granary and in dirtfloor cabins with cupboards made of boxes and homemade curtains. Had many odd jobs in Utah, such as plucking duck feathers. Among appearance and personality traits: "short and spunky, but longsuffering". After death of husband in 1939, went to CA to live with sons. Back to UT in 1944. Active in Church work and steady RS member. Died in 1957 at age 85 in Ogden. Buried in Plain City, UT.
