Born 1814 at Williamthorpe, Derbyshire, England. Married a Mr. Siddall before 1833. Married again at age 29 to Isaac Allen in 1833. Mother of ten children (six boys and four girls) born between 1833 and about 1853, four of who died as children, including one at sea on the way to the US. Baptized 1848. To US in 1854. Endowed 1862 in Endowment House. Died in 1874 at age 60 in Portage, UT.
