Born 1864 at Chicken Creek, Juab, UT. Throughout her life, kept mementos that Brigham Young left at their house on his way travelling through when she was a child. Married at age 15 (??) in 1880; not sealed in the temple until 1914. Apparently not baptized until she was in his twenties. Mother of 12 children (seven boys and five girls), five of whom died as children between 1889 and 1898. Died in 1957 at age 92 in Salt Lake City. Personal items: not very tall; keen sense of humor - loved to play tricks on her family. Delivered many children for many women during her life, but never charged for the service.
