Born 1887 in American Fork, UT. To Salt Lake City in late teens. Married at age 18 in 1906; was in honeymoon in San Francisco during the big 1906 earthquake. Mother of eight children (four boys and four girls) born between 1907 and 1926, two of whom died as children. Served in the Mutual when her girls were in it. While Walter was alive, had many odd jobs, including selling items door to door, to help earn money. When family moved to California in 1925, had to sell nearly all of the family possessions to pay the train fare to Los Angeles. After Walter died in 1932, remarried twice, once in 1945 (husband died) and once in 1949 (this husband preceded her in death also). In later years, had many problems with diabetes. Died in 1965 at age 77 in Salt Lake City. Buried in American Fork. Parents on page 10.
