Born 1884 in Salt Lake City. Married in 1906 at age 21; was in honeymoon in San Francisco during the big 1906 earthquake. Baptized in 1912 at age 27, sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1913. In 1919 went to the Palmer School of Chiropractics in Iowa; contracted spinal meningitis and returned to Utah. Through fasting a prayers on his behalf he survived, one of a handful to do so. Moved from Salt Lake to Ogden in 1923 to work as a printer. In 1925 out of work again; moved to Los Angeles to find employment; family followed soon thereafter. Died in 1932 at age 47 in Huntington Park, CA. Was known as being a very quiet man, but loved to talk with Ila in long walks he would take with her. Parents on page 9
