Born 1803 in Kentucky. Married at age 19 in 1822 in Randolph County, IL. Mother of twelve children (eight boys and four girls) between 1825 and 1845, three of whom died as children. When husband died around 1845, left as a widow of nine children, and last child was born a few months after his death. Received her endowments in the Nauvoo Temple in 1846. Very destitute in Nauvoo. Living in Iowa with Thomas and others between about 1846 and 1854. When he went to Utah in 1854, she stayed behind. In 1869 Thomas picked her up as he returned from a mission, and took her by train to Utah, where for the first time she meet many of her grandchildren. Died in 1894 at age 91 in Salina, UT.
