Since it's General Conference weekend, let's focus on changes in LDS words and phrases during the past 150 years or so. Go to the LDS General Conference site. Find five words or phrases whose frequency has changed quite a bit over time (other than the ones we did in class). Show when the main changes took place, and suggest possible reasons for the change. If you need to look at some texts to give you an idea of words and phrases to look for, take a look at the church's General Conference website. If you want to compare the LDS data with English data generally during this time, you might use the TIME corpus.
